Parsnip Totin Jack ★ Posted September 2, 2017 Share #1 Posted September 2, 2017 Harvey is here and is dumping rain all day. Looks to be a slow day at the LBS. I made some chicken salad for lunch and have a growler of Mad Fox Orange Whip IPA to share after closing. Picked up some Hatch chiles from Wegmans. I will blister and peel those tonight. I will use some to make huevos rancheros for dinner. What's going on in your neck of the woods?

Ralphie ★ Posted September 2, 2017 Share #6 Posted September 2, 2017 We ran oot of pancake mix and my peach ripening shhhedule was off, so we had eggs instead of peach pancakes. On the plus side, they were accompanied by tomatoes and onion and cherry pepper slices. And the dreaded squash vine borers finally got to the spaghetti squashes and ornamental gourds.
Dirtyhip Posted September 2, 2017 Share #7 Posted September 2, 2017 It looks like we have fallen into a nuclear wasteland or something. Maybe, the end times are here. The sun is red. My throat is sore. The temps are near 100 today. so far, I have chatted on text and the forum and drank covfefe. Not sure what is on tap today. maybe ride to the library and the fish hatchery. Takin it easy here. Sept is here now. The rains should be coming.

Ask @Scrapr about how hyper I am. actually, I am going to take advantage of their HVAC and filtered air for a bit. An oxygen bar would be sweet. 1

Airehead Posted September 2, 2017 Share #14 Posted September 2, 2017 Just finished a day of dog showing. No Qs at all today? But Lindy still did pretty good. Ryan had no Q's and didn't pay attention at all. He had fun. Off for Mexican and then bed and then do it all again tomorrow.
