You see a lot of pics from 1900-1935 or so with airedales running around with kids, the middle class but never now. It seems the airedale and the American bulldog (Pete type dogs) were the dog for the every man 100 years ago. Now you never see a bulldog and airedales are reserved for the beautiful people.
