Randomguy Posted September 7, 2017 Share #1 Posted September 7, 2017 And how does it compare with a low-ankle sprain or garden variety ankle sprain? I did not sprain anything, in case you were wondering.
parodybot Posted September 7, 2017 Share #2 Posted September 7, 2017 You get baked and then sprain your ankle. It is worse because when you are baked, you do not realize you hurt your ankle until hours later.

Completely wrong I'm afraid, arse about face: it's when the joint is sprained then you have a joint to help with the pain.
BuffJim Posted September 7, 2017 Share #4 Posted September 7, 2017 About a 6 week injury. Somebody up there doesn't like the Cleveland Browns. I picked against them in my fantasy football survivor's pool this week.

Kzoo Posted September 7, 2017 Share #7 Posted September 7, 2017 The garden variety low ankle sprain is when you roll you ankle to the outside, tearing and straining the ligaments on the outside of the ankle. A high ankle sprain is when you tear and strain the ligaments on the top front of the ankle (i.e. above the joint on front). This is caused by having your foot bent forcefully to the back (bending it the wrong direction). Typical in a tackle in football. An low ankle sprain will limit lateral movement. A high ankle sprain will limit forward movement.
