Popular Post airinpie Posted September 16, 2017 Popular Post Share #1 Posted September 16, 2017 62 miles is a long freaking way. Took 4:18; we averaged 15 for 45 miles, then hit a headwind and I kind of tanked at the end a bit. Im currently questioning my life choices. 12

Zephyr Posted September 16, 2017 Share #7 Posted September 16, 2017 Good for you. 4:18 is a good time and a good indicator that your 100 miler is in the bag. Congrats

airinpie Posted September 18, 2017 Author Share #11 Posted September 18, 2017 I am seriously questioning whether the 100 is a good idea. I don't know if I'm going to be able to get another long ride in before then. And I was pretty spent after the metric. I can't conceive of riding another 2.5-3 hours after that. Longjohn ★ Posted September 18, 2017 Share #12 Posted September 18, 2017 Go for it, it's flat ground and the hundred on flat should be no harder than what you just rode.
2Far ★ Posted September 18, 2017 Share #13 Posted September 18, 2017 Awesome! Try to get some longer base miles rides in if you can't get a long & slow in before the big day.
Parsnip Totin Jack ★ Posted September 18, 2017 Share #14 Posted September 18, 2017 You can do it! And if you can't there's always SAG. Pie and ice cream at the finish.
