AirwickWithCheese Posted September 17, 2017 Share #1 Posted September 17, 2017 but now with innovations, picture something along these lines. Sliding glass walls to open up your entire house.

bikeman564™ Posted September 17, 2017 Share #3 Posted September 17, 2017 Nice, I rode past one in Detroit. I didn't get a pic, but this is the house. It's the only one I've seen in person http://www.turkelhouse.com/
AirwickWithCheese Posted September 17, 2017 Author Share #4 Posted September 17, 2017 You have to admire Frank. He was working at a time when building products couldn't really match up to his dreams and designs but he still made it work. Wilbur dislikes Frank, not sure why. The pig can be difficult at times. Anyway, Wright believed in the house opening to the outdoors and the outdoors being a part of the actual house.
Scrapr ★ Posted September 17, 2017 Share #5 Posted September 17, 2017 Friends have the Winder Walls. They are beyond fantastic. He went and did (while remodeling) without getting permission from his wife. She loves it......now did FLW do casement winders?

Wilbur ★ Posted September 17, 2017 Share #8 Posted September 17, 2017 With enough windows, Carl's water heater box under the bridge to San Soucie could be a Frank Lloyd Wright.
