I actually can't figure out if it was supposed to mean "organic" or they're referring to the peat pots that the basil is in. (You don't transplant it, just stick it in the ground and the pot breaks down and dissolves.) Rest assured though that next time you come over, I will NOT feed you any plastic basil.
