Kzoo Posted September 22, 2017 Share #8 Posted September 22, 2017 We had a massive storm yesterday evening right before I got home. It was one cell that sat over an area of about 3 miles in diameter for about 45 minutes and just dumped rain. We left a 2 gal bucket out in a flowerbed and it had 7 inches of water in it last night. It was dry the night before. I was about a 1/4 mile from home and I see water running across the road where I've never seen water before and I knew something wasn't right. We have a small pond with a water wheel at the dam. There was so much water coming over the dam that the wheel stopped turning. My yard and driveway was completely covered with leaves and twigs from what the hail did to the trees. A mile west of me everything was dry. Power was out for about an hour. WoKzoo had to drive school bus through it. Between the wind and the rain her buss was being pushed around the road on top of the piles of hail.
