team scooter Posted October 1, 2017 Share #1 Posted October 1, 2017 The old one has holes rusted through from being ridden hard and put away wet for 16 years. But it still starts with one pull. This one will never rust and will be the last mower I'll ever need to buy. Spending way too much money this year.
donkpow Posted October 1, 2017 Share #2 Posted October 1, 2017 Does that one have two blades underneath? The one I use is a three way mower and has two blades that cross like a "X".

I rake all the leaves out of the beds into the grass and run them over with the Honda and they disappear. A few passes if they're over six inches deep. JerrySTL ★ Posted October 1, 2017 Share #5 Posted October 1, 2017 What's the deck made of that it won't rust? Plastic? Aluminum? Carbon fiber! I had a lawnmower with a magnesium deck which was rust-proof. Unfortunately it cracked.

Johnny Come Lately Name Posted October 1, 2017 Share #8 Posted October 1, 2017 I think you should come over and demonstrate it. Once a week will do.

It has the "Nexite lifetime guaranteed deck". Fancy speak for plastic. This is the model I wanted 16 years ago, but instead saved $200 and bought a steel one with a less fancy drive system.
