Dash cam

A lot of great advice above.

However, the first step is generally to turn it on, and then to aim it forward (facing out through the windshield). THEN, find the cyclists, trucks with livestock, roads beside steep hillsides/cliffs, thunderstorms/tornadoes, or any Chinese or Indian inner-city intersection.  I'm getting the impression you just half-azzed this dash cam implementation.

I’m very disappointed. Not one thing worth posting has happened since I’ve started using one.

That's the proper use of Murphy's law then.  It's like buying insurance and then never needing it.

You have to know what would happen if you didn't have it.  Other people would be posting videos of an asteroid smashing into your uninsured car.
