Beer is all natural: water, hops, grains, yeast.  And the alcohol is just a byproduct of the yeasties eating the sugar from the grains. It ain't poison.

She is right, it is delicious grainy poison that makes you buzzy, attractive, and charming.

After hearing some of my husband's stories from people recovering from alcohol addiction, it sure sounds like an addictive poison.  He sees some crazy crap in the hospital. 

That stuff is dangerous.

When I was in college, a buddy's rooommate worked security in an ER oh, the stories he told!

I have one friend who is a functional drunk for the 25+ years I have known him. Other than him, it is just the quarrelsome ex who had to drink everyday.  My grandfather was supposedly an alcoholic, but he stopped well before I was born.
