Rattlecan ★ Posted October 5, 2017 Share #3 Posted October 5, 2017 Yeah, you don't want to go into an MRI with steel particles in your eyeballs. They will come out forcefully. I never thought about that until I went for an MRI on my shoulder and was asked if there was any chance I may have gotten steel in my eyes at any point in my life.

pedalphile Posted October 5, 2017 Share #5 Posted October 5, 2017 The bastard technicians at mine said take off your shoes or leave them on as you like - they'd heard the cleats clicking on the floor. I left them on and as I raised my legs onto the bed the magnets started gripping and freaked me out, they got their laughs that day, bastards. 2 1
Longjohn ★ Posted October 5, 2017 Author Share #6 Posted October 5, 2017 I could have gone to sleep in there. It reminded me of sleeping in the bunk over my Detroit Deisel back in my truck driving days. I forced myself to stay awake so I didn’t move around. There were several of us former drivers worked at the shop I retired from. I’ve heard the comment many times when someone comes in the break room: “I should have known you guys were in here talking, I could smell the diesel smoke as soon as I opened the door’” 1
