How are they doing?  Human, canine, feline, borrowed or otherwise.

Daughter 1- fine and busy with work and young chidren

Daughter 2- HR reason for FEMA-- too busy to even sleep right now

Daughter 3- Panning her New Years Eve wedding

I;m so proud of my part in helping these young women be successful.  Their mom and dad are looking down from heaven with big smiles.

Daughter 1 is loving her job as an animal care specialist at an aquarium and loves every single critter there

Daughter 2 has put her seven continents in seven years plan on hold and after her time in Asia this Spring, including base camp of Everest, she decided her love of Australia is still there and is accepted into University in Aussie for International Business degree and starts right after Christmas

Son only is done three years of his Mech Eng degree and found his love for deep sea submersibles and is doing work with a company who explores the ocean floors as his co-op.

Daughter 1 is a child /youth worker determining care and services for foster kids and auditing homes.  Living in my basement while her fiancé finishes school and she is working on her Masters. 

Daughter 2 has started her career in advertising with a large Toronto firm and is a strategist for a large entertainment company.

Dogs 1-3 are all lazy underachievers.  I don't hold them accountable as I never invested in their education.

#1 son is living on the waterfront in Wilmington, NC. Back in school again. I think he is becoming a professional student.

#2 son is a 1st Sargent down in Georgia. He has become quite the leader, husband, father, family man. He and his wife have four daughters and are expecting their first son in six weeks.

#3 son is living locally, worship leader at our large church, head of missions program for all eight campuses, he and his wife have four daughters and twin sons.

Still missing and assumed stolen.  All the others are doing fine. We shear sheep on Friday, and then take more to the sale barn later in October.

Daughter 1: executive with large international corp.  2 boys.  Family lives in Carmel, IN Finished MBA at Syracuse University this past spring.

Daugher 2  Former bank officer,  3 girls, 1 boy.  Live 6 miles from us,  preschool teacher, foster parent.

DoZ - just celebrated 11 years of marriage and closed on a beautiful home in SC. Both of their children are in school now and doing great.

SoZ - celebrated 4 years of marriage and is in his third year of home ownership in WV.  He just recently switched careers and his wife is in her second year of teaching. 

I love my family.

First of all I never consider pets as my children.  They are pets.

Daughter#1 has 4 children of her own that are all doing well.  She is an amazing mom and homeschooler to our grandkids.  Her vision, creativity and organization continue to amaze me.  They live about an hour away

Daughter#2 is a hair stylist at a high end salon in Kalamazoo.  She is my cycling buddy and a marathon runner.  Much of her life centers around running.

Daughter#3 loves working with children and has a job at a pre-school.  She's also a marathoner  She is also an incredible artist.  She also lives in the area.

Daughter #1 is engaged 

daughter #2 is going to look at a house tonight, hopefully she will put in an offer

daughter #3 graduates from college next April with a masters in healthcare administration. She’s heading to Germany this month for a conference on aging, then San Francisco for another one where she is presenting a study she did on nursing home conditions. 

The boy is living about an hour from me with his girlfriend. Works in IT at a credit union.

Daughter #1 - Big news she shared Friday night is the tumor is gone! Still some cervical scar tissue and they are watching the lymph nodes. Some followup care going on there, but the Drs are pretty confident they will be able to say "cured" at the 90 checkup! She and her BF are traveling to Michigan this week to see his grandmother who is not doing well. After that, she hopes to return to work.  BF has been awesome through all this and appears to be a keeper! 

Son - Manages a Subway, drives with Uber, manages the warehouse for Pink Gorilla Events (they run several large races). In his spare time, he runs, rides and sends inappropriate humor to his sisters!

Daughter#2 - Lives about 15 minutes from Daughter #1 in Phoenix area. She works at a call center and is big into photography. She would like to turn that into her living. She has already been featured on a couple travel web pages. Her BF and her just celebrated 5 years together. They have long term plans, but marriage is way on the back burner...

Daughter is pitching for softball team.  Doing well.  Son is finished with Xc and has now started Cx.

No kids nor pets in the basement or anywhere. Just 7 nieces and nephews.  And now 1 great-nephew (or is it grand-nephew?)  only 3 months old.

He has 2 kids + 3 grandsons.

My favorite son is here in VA visiting. His 24th b-day is Wednesday. Wo7 is driving out Wednesday for the birthday dinner, son says a mexican restaurant he likes.

He is looking to move here by year end. He is spending time this week looking for a job. His XJ is getting closer to rolling out of the garage bay in OH. His plan is to park it on his trailer and tow it out here on a trailer and park it somewhere safe.  He took his settlement cash ($5100) from VW for the dieselgate issue and bought parts to complete the one-ton axle swap on his TJ. That will be done by a friend here in VA.

Wo7 is packing the house prior to sale. She's getting one or two of those pods and plans to empty the house soon. Mu suspicions are she doesn't want to live there by herself and will move back to VA and let the realtor handle selling the house. This one bedroom apartment is going to be small by year end. Lease is up in April. I think I'm moving then.

My daughter graduated with a BS in Kiniseology but decided to become dental hygienist so is in a 2 year program at a local JC.  She lives with her fiance and the big date is set for next December. 

My son is enrolled in a local JC and playing baseball for now, still not sure what he's going to do nor is he...  He has expressed in interest in culinary school as he loves to cook.  Well see, he's still young and has time to figure it out.

Jack is living the dream with a warm comfy bed, 2 meals a day, a couple of walks and lots of family to dote on him.

Older son: doing well in school.  starting to become a bit more outgoing.  Starting to get involved in scouts again Learning to play with the hand that he is dealt and to advocate for himself.  Case in point, he just called his old Scout Master and asked if he would mentor him and help him earn his Eagle.  

Younger son: Doing okay in school.  Has a full plate with school, band, football and scouts.  Pushing boundaries.  Typical early teen in all ways.

Daughter 1 is a 2nd year resident, getting hitched next august. She picked a pretty good residency that doesn't totally abuse her like many do. 

Daughter 2 moved oot and is enjoying her new town.  Work as an engineer is going ok

Ruby is also living the dream, snoozing, playing, eating, walking, and more snoozing.  I am very jealous!

I'm glad everybody else kids are doing good. 

Lil Scrapr? How do i say it. He's still finding his way. After getting back from his Euro trip w/us he lost his security job. They said he did not give notice. He says he did. I'm sure he did...as a verbal. He then got on a grocery store. And was terminated a week later. His drug test came back for marijuana. (which is legal in oregon) but against Corp policy. That was a good job and one he could have made a career. The pot is keeping him from applying for some good jobs

So after "looking" for work all summer...no luck. In one of the best job markets ever. He is staying at Grandmas. Grandma gave him an ultimatum. Get a job before the month is out. He got on at Walmart in a week. Hates it. 

I have given him countless leads in construction. No follow up. He has worked casual labor for our company and the Contractor I share an office with. He is a good worker. But is having to learn some hard lessons now.

Oldest daughter is a talented artist (stipple, oil, pencil), and is married to a wonderful woman, and they have three fantastic children, twin boys and a girl. She also works at Cranbrook Institute in MI. Her wife is a mechanical engineer for the military.

Youngest daughter is an mechanical engineer at a company that makes many of the pistons for the world's automakers. She started there 19 years ago, as a receptionist, and got bored quickly, so they paid her college tuition and promoted her through the ranks. She now manages one of their metrology labs, and is working on a Master's in Engineering Management. She has a son who just got his driver's permit, and her new husband has two daughters, who have been considered a part of the family for almost a decade.

I hope people don't mind if I talk about grandchildren.  They're fairly accomplished people, so I apologize in advance if it sounds as if I'm exaggerating or bragging...

This is my grandson, who is a vice president at multi-national firm that conducts safety testing for most of the major toy manufacturers.  He's written nearly all of their testing protocols and actively oversees the laboratory work to make sure the tests are properly run:

 

My elder granddaughter, who has her doctorates in animal genetics and continental climate studies.  Here she's collecting data on the adaptation of African large animal species to the temperate North American deciduous forests.

 

My younger granddaughter, who just completed her Masters in Hydrology.  She's known for immersing herself in her work.  In this case she's completing a project on a prototype system to economically transfer torrential rains from weather events like hurricanes to areas of the country where there are water shortages:
