Razors Edge ★ Posted October 10, 2017 Share #2 Posted October 10, 2017 If you miss them, you're likely to be in them soon, so just give it a few years. Tom 2 1

Road Runner Posted October 10, 2017 Share #8 Posted October 10, 2017 Yep. It's 85 F and humid here right now. The 70's would be great!

sheep_herder ★ Posted October 11, 2017 Share #12 Posted October 11, 2017 The 70s were a very eventful decade, some years good and some very, very, bad.
MickinMD ★ Posted October 11, 2017 Share #13 Posted October 11, 2017 The 70's was the decade of greatest growth for me. It represented the period I entered as an uncertain teen from a poor family with a fast-food job struggling to get an education, not knowing if I had the math skills to make it in chemistry. I exited the '70's as chief chemist of process development research at a subsidiary of Dow Chemical as well as a State Director in the Jaycees. I played in the 1976 U.S. Chess Open, played 1st base and outfield on a men's softball team, and coached my younger brother's rec league baseball team. I taught my brother to play guitar and he's had a notable part-time career as a bass guitarist every since - he's playing classic 70's-80's rock in a band called "Switch" at Henny Mack's in Glen Burnie, MD on Saturday night if anyone's in the area. Of course, the 1970's also had the best 50-foot-long billboard:
