This one. Took a team across most of the state. The person who deserves the most thanks is the one in the fairest western edge of the state who would not give up when the shelter thought it might best to euthanize him. She convinced them how resilient Airedales are. He is a sweetie. 1
Ralphie Posted October 14, 2017 Share #9 Posted October 14, 2017 I had no idea that Airedales were naturally so shaggy!

Airehead Posted October 15, 2017 Author Share #12 Posted October 15, 2017 Report this morning is he slept quietly all night. Still has not eaten any food but did eat a good night cookie. He has a baseball sized mass in his chest. My guess is soft, fatty tumor--a benign lipoma. I hope the vet agrees.
Wilbur Posted October 15, 2017 Share #13 Posted October 15, 2017 I am confused. Is this dog going to live with AWWC?
Airehead Posted October 15, 2017 Author Share #14 Posted October 15, 2017 No but he likes to hear the happy stories of rescue. I shield him from the bad stories because he has a soft heart. Cheese would like an Airedale in the future.

I had a dog that had a growth in her chest, The vet gave her antibiotics and it cleared up.
