Razors Edge ★ Posted October 16, 2017 Share #1 Posted October 16, 2017 ...with their Di2 set-ups? I like the idea - probably mostly for TT/tri bikes - but can't see a reason to add them to my shifting set-up. I don't sprint for dollars, and I don't have any real issue shifting while climbing, so I think they would be overkill. Maybe someone here thinks differently and is using them effectively? Square Wheels Posted October 16, 2017 Share #2 Posted October 16, 2017 Don't have Di2, maybe if I get a new bike.
ChrisL Posted October 17, 2017 Share #3 Posted October 17, 2017 I think one would be handy just on the inside of the bar right under the right brake as that's a good resting spot for your thumb. But yeah kinda overkill.

But yeah kinda overkill. Yeah - I think that is generally where they put them. For a sprinter, it may really only be a single one is needed - to shift up to a harder gear? In a sprint, if you have to go to an easier gear, you aren't likely winning. Tom
