Fret Buzz Posted October 21, 2017 Share #1 Posted October 21, 2017 So, my Garmin is now reporting my rear shift count in the summary at the end of the ride. Today, I went for a 30 mile ride - relatively flat - and with mild winds and temps. I generally stay in the meat of my cassette (an 11-28), so that's the 4,5,6,7. Maybe into the harder gears for brief downhill sections. That's about 2.4 shifts per minute. I'm gonna see if that's about my normal average, but it seems like shifting every 25 seconds or so is a lot. But maybe it's not. Time will tell. Bike Cadence Avg Cadence: 83 rpm Max Cadence: 120 rpm Tom
