JerrySTL Posted October 22, 2017 Share #3 Posted October 22, 2017 Walked 54 laps at the Scott AFB IL Fitness Center indoor track for 3 miles. As you may guess, the weather is really crappy today. 3
Popular Post Dirtyhip Posted October 23, 2017 Popular Post Share #4 Posted October 23, 2017 Mid teens on Brutus, with about 1800 ft of climbing. I am slightly slow at the moment as I heal the hand. it still hurts in the big rocky stuff. Manuals seem to be really a part of my repertoire these days. I love that maneuver. I pulled one off that was really nice. Rode down a tranny with the front wheel in the air. Had the front wheel up for a solid couple seconds. I love pulling those. They look stylish. It's been a good week. 5000 ft. this week with my commutes factored in. I'm coming back. 5

I feel totally fine to ride, I can even ride pretty hard now. Just haven't felt like it. I'm not worried about it. I hired my coach again, we start again on 11/1. I don't mind the rest before he starts to beat the crap out of me. We will be more careful keeping in mind that I do injure. I'm a little concerned about the lack of bike time. I'll remind him of that. I'll try to ride a little here and there before 11/1.

roadiejorge Posted October 23, 2017 Share #11 Posted October 23, 2017 21.29 miles. I went on the test ride to see how my back and new fit would feel and fortunately all went well. The fitness was shot to hell though and old habits die hard in that I was riding as if I had my old fitness; spend a good chunk of the ride at threshold and anaerobic levels. I need to work on dialing it down.
