jsharr ★ Posted October 30, 2017 Author Share #4 Posted October 30, 2017 Just now, sheep_herder said: Hard day? As hard of the day as a puppy could have playing with big dogs and drinking powdered milk. These are Foster pups. Mom is a street dog who developed gangrenous mastitis and can no longer nurse. We have two sisters and one brother at our house for the weekend. They rejoin their other brothers and sisters at the Foster in the morning

jsharr ★ Posted November 9, 2017 Author Share #16 Posted November 9, 2017 Got some sad news this AM. Bluebelle was at another foster home and fell into a swimming pool. She was rescued and is still alive but not doing well. May have to be put down today.

jsharr ★ Posted November 9, 2017 Author Share #18 Posted November 9, 2017 Just got this update from my wife from the pet resuce and vet. Not sure what AMCR is. Good news this morning. Bluebell is feeling better. Keeping her temp normal and ate. They are releasing her back to AMCR for the day. There's a 48 hour time frame she could start running fever and develop pneumonia so need to keep a close eye on that. Currently not on antibiotics. She will have labored breathing for a few days until her lungs recover.
