Randomguy Posted November 18, 2017 Share #3 Posted November 18, 2017 You only have to have ridden a bike once. 1
Longjohn ★ Posted November 18, 2017 Share #4 Posted November 18, 2017 Certain benchmarks I think secure in your own mind that you are indeed a cyclist. Have you done any charity rides and finished them? (MS 150 etc.) Have you ever rode and finished a century? Do you have stories about your first ambulance ride after a crash? Is your Facebook feed full of bicycle friends, photos of bikes, bike rides, events? Have you done any multi-day ride? Once those are in the books you can be considered a cyclist even if currently you are not logging many miles.

Ralphie ★ Posted November 18, 2017 Share #7 Posted November 18, 2017 I take the minimalist approach like Bubonic Plague. As long as you know how, you';re in! I think maybe we should exclude wrong way cyclists, though. And the Irish! (Mel Brooks' fault) 2

speedysmed Posted November 18, 2017 Share #19 Posted November 18, 2017 You have to have over 8,000 miles for the year and over 30,000 miles on Strava to be considered a bicycler. ???♂️ https://www.strava.com/athletes/191270 1
