Airehead Posted November 22, 2017 Share #1 Posted November 22, 2017 I am on my way for an MRI so I'm a little loopy from the pre-medication for my allergy to the contrast dye. Not a good day to be loopy because it is busy afterwards. Yesterday Schumers spies (I a mean security detail) were all over our elementary building. Senator Schumer will be paying us a visit today even though we don't have students and schools are closed. We are excited to chat with him. Then I have to come home and make pies -- cherry and pumpkin chiffon. Then I am taking a nap.

Randomguy Posted November 22, 2017 Share #11 Posted November 22, 2017 What is the MRI for exactly? I just want to be sure I am recalling the correct ailment.
Kirby Posted November 22, 2017 Share #12 Posted November 22, 2017 Good luck with the visit and the MRI. I know you're a much better cook than I am, but after all that, I think a nice Wegmans pie would be fine for Thanksgiving.

Airehead Posted November 22, 2017 Author Share #15 Posted November 22, 2017 This MRI was to check on the tumor that isn’t supposed to be in my leg bone anymore.

Airehead Posted November 22, 2017 Author Share #19 Posted November 22, 2017 The pie is in the oven. I figured Mr. Aire could help with the crust shield design since he is an engineer-- he covered the whole pie--- fail. It is now corrected and has 32 more minutes to cook.
