Ralphie ★ Posted November 22, 2017 Share #1 Posted November 22, 2017 Boston Lager. I saved two bottles from my daughter starting to pour them down the drain because they had been cold and warmed up. Tastes fine to me! So what gives them the right to name the beer after Sam Adams?

Probably a lot of Samuel Adams around. Plus he probably didn't trademark his name. Here's what I'll be drinking: ALCOHOL BY VOLUME: 5.4% HOP BITTERNESS (IBU): 25 COLOR: Copper OG: 13.0 Plato HOPS: US Willamette MALTS: Munich, Chestnut Flour

Good job on the save. Reminds me years ago my boss threw (for all intents & purposes) a full bottle of Bailiey's away because it was left out wtf dude? In regard to Sam, I'm not sure why it was named a beer after him.

Tomorrow we have FL region wine with the Turkey (There are two native grape varieties I enjoy Concord and Niagara). But Riesling is the FL Vinifera king.

Longjohn ★ Posted November 28, 2017 Share #17 Posted November 28, 2017 After my doctor's appointment I stopped at a gas station and picked up a six pack of Great Lakes Brewing Co. Edmund Fitzgerald porter. Pennsylvania is coming around almost ready to join the twentieth century, we can buy beer at a gas station.
12string Posted November 28, 2017 Share #18 Posted November 28, 2017 Not drinking it tonight, waiting for the correct setting, but at the local Black Friday event, in addition to picking up my 2018-19 supply of Mad Elf, I scored the last bottle of Ola Dubh 18, bottled 2009. There were actually 2 bottles, but after explaining it to the guy next to me, then finding out it wasn't ridiculously expensive, I had to let him take the other.
