Longjohn ★ Posted December 8, 2017 Share #1 Posted December 8, 2017 I figured I better run on the dreadmill while we still had power. Moved it ahead of the rest of my workout and then went to the hand bike. Ten minutes into the handbike we lose power. No showers today. The grid is supposed to be back on in five hours. I only did an eighth mile swim, learned my lesson go going too far too fast.

Kzoo Posted December 8, 2017 Share #3 Posted December 8, 2017 And now you can't believe any of those machines. Looks like a cousin of parodybot's was doing the math. You ran 1.00 miles in 9:22 and your average pace was 9:21/mile. Huh?

Longjohn ★ Posted December 8, 2017 Author Share #7 Posted December 8, 2017 I had a flat tire when I went to leave the gym. Got out my spare and my jack, no Jack handle. I left AAA change it. I have had that car for ten years, first flat tire I’ve ever had. Didn’t know the jack handle was not there.

You got lucky! Tom
Longjohn ★ Posted December 8, 2017 Author Share #11 Posted December 8, 2017 It went flat at the gym. If I didn’t have AAA I would have borrowed a jack and lug wrench from someone.

Longjohn ★ Posted December 9, 2017 Author Share #14 Posted December 9, 2017 I took the taar home and reinflated it to look for a puncture. There was a big bulge on the inside sidewall. New taar was $150. They wanted to sell me four so they would all match. I told them that wasn’t happening.
