Why would you need a racing tire in a wider width? Use one of their performance tires that do come in wider configurations.

You (and they, maybe) can call it a "racing" tire, but the 4000S II (oddly shown as "400" by the German site!) is an everyday, most-conditions, performance tire.  It rolls fast, has very good puncture resistance, lasts a good while, is a comfortable tire, and basically just performs well.  So, for me, I'd just like it in more widths.

You can do that. Trouble is, Continental has other tires accepted as suitable by most of the riders on the planet.
