smudge ★ Posted February 10, 2018 Share #1 Posted February 10, 2018 I know a truck drives differently than a front wheel drive car, but I just don't think my tires are all that great. Then again I got really spoiled with the Firestones I put on my Bonneville a year and a half before I sold it. I'm in GR, so I went to Bell Tire to ask about year round tires with a good winter emphasis. They suggested the Goodyear Wrangler Adventure AT. He said it's at a good price right now, and they could put them on that day. I got back to daughter's house and read reviews; people really like this tire! I was leaning real hard to getting these tires before heading home. Later we were heading out to meet DofSmudge2 for dinner. I got down close to my tires I currently have to get a good look at which ones they are. I knew they were Goodyears..... Oh crap. These are the same tires I was going to buy!!! Yup, saved some money.
Reverend_Maynard Posted February 10, 2018 Share #2 Posted February 10, 2018 You live in the UP? Maybe you should invest in a set of real snow tires.

Further Posted February 10, 2018 Share #13 Posted February 10, 2018 I got a set of Uniroyal's in the fall, very happy with them. Reasonably quiet, good traction, a little over 500 out the door.
