Razors Edge ★ Posted March 4, 2018 Share #6 Posted March 4, 2018 I actually just tossed a box of thin mints that had been sitting on my desk at work for a year. They probably were still edible (not stale), but I decided to just throw them away rather than test my theory. Tom 1

Popular Post sheep_herder ★ Posted March 4, 2018 Popular Post Share #9 Posted March 4, 2018 Yep, my order should arrive the third week in March, about the same time I will get an order of cheese and meat sticks from the local FFA group. 3 1
donkpow Posted March 4, 2018 Share #10 Posted March 4, 2018 What's really nice about this time of year is the lovely young mothers sit with their money grubbing kids at the grocery store.
dinneR ★ Posted March 4, 2018 Share #11 Posted March 4, 2018 I was driving through WI a couple of years ago. Stopped for gas and a girl scout was outside selling her cookies. It had to -10 and she was in a bear costume. I bought some thin mints. Gotta respect her fortitude. 2

Thaddeus Kosciuszko Posted March 4, 2018 Share #14 Posted March 4, 2018 I used to buy the Girl Scout cookies because they are so good. They never put enough cookies in a box, because it takes me no time at all to eat the entire contents. Nowadays, when I see the Girl Scouts buying cookies I usually plunk down the money to buy several boxes for the Troops. Those serving in our military get great cookies, the Girl Scouts benefit from the sale, and I can walk away feeling a bit better about passing up on the cookies.

Longjohn ★ Posted March 4, 2018 Share #16 Posted March 4, 2018 The guys where I worked took orders for their daughters. I couldn’t believe how many guys bought boxes of cookies and just left them on the break room tables for whoever wanted them. Not everyone has trouble resisting them. Guest Posted March 4, 2018 Share #17 Posted March 4, 2018 We went into town yesterday and those little pushers were set up everywhere. We went to Sams, petco, target and the grocery store. They were at all four.
Longjohn ★ Posted March 5, 2018 Share #18 Posted March 5, 2018 At least they give you something for your donation. I hate when the little league pan handlers are out in force at the grocery store. I usually ignore them but I have suggested they put on a car wash or sell something.
