Kzoo Posted October 2, 2013 Share #2 Posted October 2, 2013 25.5 miles early afternoon. It was a beautiful day for a ride. About 72* when I left at about 1:00 and 78* when I returned at 2:30. The trail through the woods was empty and the traffic on the roads was light.

They set off warnings for lightning within 5 miles.Walked at the Y instead for 3 miles. 26 laps per mile. 78 laps. Boring.

I had enough trouble keeping track of where I was on that - 78 laps for 3 miles, no way could my brain keep up.

I have a hand held lap counter. i believe that golfers often use the same thing to count shots. Even with the counter I sometimes forget to click it each lap. Our best Y has a track that's only 13 laps per mile.
