Kirby Posted April 14, 2018 Share #2 Posted April 14, 2018 The Quiet Man, but they usually only show it on St Patrick's Day. What choices do we have?

Road Runner Posted April 14, 2018 Share #4 Posted April 14, 2018 I would suggest a Marx Brothers movie. Animal Crackers, Duck Soup, or A Day at the Races.

I think she needs to post a picture of the dvds she has before we can choose. Hopefully she has some Mel Brooks! 1

maddmaxx ★ Posted April 15, 2018 Share #13 Posted April 15, 2018 True Grit or better still In Harms Way with a huge cast.
JerrySTL ★ Posted April 15, 2018 Share #14 Posted April 15, 2018 The Conqueror where John Wayne plays Genghis Khan who was (1) from Asia and (2) probably about a foot shorter than John Wayne. The Sea Chase where John Wayne plays a German ship captain with a really strange American accent.
donkpow Posted April 15, 2018 Share #15 Posted April 15, 2018 I also like a woman who knows how to handle a .30-30.

smudge ★ Posted April 15, 2018 Share #17 Posted April 15, 2018 Did you decide on a movie? The Quiet Man is indeed a good choice. Wayne and O'Hara are a good combo. The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance. Pilgrim! True Grit has my favorite movie line: Fill your hands you sonofabitch! The Shootist. Great cast. I think his last film. McClintock! Pure fun with a great cast.
