The only issue I have with Mossberg is the thumb safety and muscle memory. I am so used to a trigger guard safety that I have missed shots due to trying to turn the safetly off with my finger instead of my thumb. I shot 870s for years. Will hold 5 rounds instead of 8 but you can change the choke tube and it will be more accurate if you are shooting clay pigeons, etc or decide to do any bird hunting.
