Popular Post ChrisL Posted April 25, 2018 Popular Post Share #1 Posted April 25, 2018 So I got a call Friday & Dr wants to see me. Says my A1C is much improved, down to 5.7, was 7.1 last time 13.4 before that. No changes to meds, stay the course. I still want to change Drs though, been unhappy with him for a while. Seems he's always in a hurry to see the next patient. Dude didn't even realize or comment that I'm down 30 lbs. Think maybe that had something to do with the improved numbers? 10 1

BR46 Posted April 25, 2018 Share #4 Posted April 25, 2018 5.7 yahoo. .to get to 5.7 is fantastic and some work. I started with a 10.6 and the last 4 years I have been able to keep the A1c 5.7,5.8 range so I know what it can take to keep it under control. Congratulations

jsharr ★ Posted April 25, 2018 Share #11 Posted April 25, 2018 Way to go Chris. My weight and BP and blood sugar were all down on my 3 month check up today. My doc was excited and encourage me to step it up. Get more active, drop some more weight, get the numbers even better. Have to wait and see what my A1C is, but hopefully down in the 6s or better.
