0 Indy Posted May 3, 2018 Share #2 Posted May 3, 2018 If you ask me, you have to be complete idiot to spend that kind of money on just a pump head to begin with.
0 Reverend_Maynard Posted May 3, 2018 Share #3 Posted May 3, 2018 I don't get it. There were at least 2 1* reviews.

I was surprised at the price. There are similar models for half the price.

There are entire pumps for half the price. Not crappy knock offs either, but good quality pumps.

I've got a pump that still works but the head is giving me problems. I can get a replacement head for under a dollar from China. I'm just wondering if there is a pump head that gives excellent service at a reasonable price. I am also considering purchasing an electric inflator and would like to adapt it to bicycle use. I saw those expensive heads and glanced through the reviews. If it's a good head, okay. If not, I will continue looking for a style of head that is better suited for my needs. Prestacycle, for example, has screw on heads for both Shrader and presta. Along with some quick release heads.
0 Reverend_Maynard Posted May 3, 2018 Share #12 Posted May 3, 2018 When one of my pumps has a problem, I might contact the MFGer, depending on age, and they might send me replacement parts. Otherwise, I buy a new one. I've never bought a head, or really even considered buying one. Sorry.
0 LoneWolf Posted May 10, 2018 Share #13 Posted May 10, 2018 Why do I need that? The locking head on my Topeak Joe Blow Pro works great, and they even sent me a free seal when the first one got worn after years of use.
