I recently heard Hedy Lamarr appeared nude in the 1933 movie "Ecstasy," so I looked it up (links below) and skimmed through it to see the nude scenes - just a couple of mostly topless scenes swimming and running, but a scandal back then. She was called "the most beautiful woman in films" and was a hottie who turned heads so much on the ship she took to America that Louis B. Mayer - head of MGM Studios, signed her to a contract before the ship crossed the Atlantic. No dummy, during WW2 she worried about U.S. guided torpedoes being jammed by the Germans, so she and a composer friend invented "spread spectrum" and "frequency hopping" electronic technologies for which they were granted patents after the war. Their principles were eventually used in WiFi and Bluetooth.
