Popular Post Kirby Posted June 23, 2018 Popular Post Share #1 Posted June 23, 2018 It was a quiet afternoon at work today, and a nice day outside, so I decided to take a little walk. This made me feel happy. I took a back path to another building and saw a woman standing by her car with the hood of her car up. This made me curious. But I wanted to continue on my walk, so I felt ambivalent. But I thought the woman might need help, so I went over to her. This made me feel virtuous. She had left a light on in her car, and the battery was dead. This made me feel sorry for her. There was a guy there with one of those stand alone battery chargers, but he had just tried it and it didn't have enough power. This made me feel even sorrier for her. The guy had his truck nearby and was going into the building to look for some jumper cables. This made me feel more optimistic. I had one of those standalone charger things in my car, and I thought it had a pretty full charge. This made me feel prepared. I gave the woman my cell phone number and told her she could text me if they didn't find jumper cables and I'd drive over with my charger-thingy. This made me feel kind. However, while I was walking back to my office, I realized I gave her my home number and she wouldn't be able to text me. This made me feel dumb. So once I got back to my office, I got my car keys and drove over to the other building in case she still needed help. This made me feel productive. When I got there, I didn't see any cars with their hoods open, which made me feel good. But then I realized I didn't remember what kind of car she had and I thought maybe she had gone inside the building to try to call someone. This made me concerned that she might still need help. So I went into the building to look for her in the lobby and saw the guy who was helping her before. He said he found jumper cables at the security desk and was able to get her car started. This made me feel content. So I drove back to my office and realized it was almost time to leave for the day, which made me feel very happy. The End. 7 2

jsharr ★ Posted June 23, 2018 Share #6 Posted June 23, 2018 I had a room mate in college from a very small town in north Texas. He had a drawl that would even a Texan like me say "Daaaannnnnggg!" One of his favorite sayings wat "If you feel froggy, then jump" This could mean a number of things. For some reason your story made me think of Travis and his sayings. 1
Ralphie ★ Posted June 23, 2018 Share #7 Posted June 23, 2018 I thought of Kirby yesterday when the Google Doodle for the first day summer had a frog on it. Then I thought how Kirby would rather celebrate the first day of fall. Which is odd for an amphibian.
