Ralphie Posted June 27, 2018 Share #1 Posted June 27, 2018 I find it sort of fascinating how different people do or don;t get along. Sort of like those Housewife shows. (My brian has decided I should start using colons in my posts. :D )
sheep_herder Posted June 27, 2018 Share #2 Posted June 27, 2018 What are you going to do, since they are canceling the Jerry Springer show?

I often find that my brain listens more to my colon that itself.
Ralphie Posted September 30, 2018 Author Share #4 Posted September 30, 2018 Just to clarify, the colon is in the post title, not the body. I was reminded of chemistry when I posted in another thread how I am not a fan of Michael McDonald. I thought it was a travesty when he joined the Doobie Brothers. If you miss Jerry Springer you could watch Dr. Odd. The last time I saw a part of his show it has turned into Jerry Springer.

Don't think it has been on in the last few days.

When his show first started it was practical medical advise but he ran out of material and the show became weirder and weirder. It had nothing to do with medical and resembled Jerry Springer. I don’t watch tv either but it’s on in waiting rooms and other places where I can’t get away from it.

Further Posted September 30, 2018 Share #9 Posted September 30, 2018 There a lot of people at work with unique personalities. When folks get to bitchin about there being a lot of oddballs, I like to point out that we all passed the same employment tests, and they weren't meant to weed out the strange ones, but to seek them out. And they chose us 2

late Posted November 17, 2018 Share #11 Posted November 17, 2018 I left this thread, and was scrolling down Youtube, looking for something to watch. I found the video linked below. It's a drink made from watermelon that is supposed to be like Viagra. The chemical in watermelon is citrulline maleate, and it actually does the same thing viagra does. It's just that viagra is heaps more powerful. But if you want to try it, rather than go through all that nonsense, just buy a citrulline pill...The video also says to do it everyday. Which doesn't make sense. The problem comes from a lack of blood flow. That can happen for different reasons. But you'd have to combine the citrulline with some other action. Possible more than one other action. The obvious thing would be to use your 'equipment' an hour after you take the stuff. Might help. Losing weight might reduce buildup in the blood vessels which could slow blood flow. Exercise that works the heart could make your heart a little stronger. I know that cycling comes to mind, but it's prob not ideal. Almost anything that elevates your heart rate would do, even weight lifting. https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_c_1_10?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=citrulline+malate&sprefix=citrulline%2Caps%2C164&crid=3TW7HUNCI5G39

I was going to give my usual dissertation about how decided to be a chemist at age 12 after I watched Cowboys' Quarterback Don Meredith do commercials about chemists improving products made by Shell Oil and a lot of Dupont commercials, all ending with, "Better things for better living...through Chemistry!" I'm a master chemist but, As far a chemistry between people goes, I'm average a personal chemistry.
