I had to ride across town this week. The ride is somewhere up around 32 miles so sometimes I wear bike shorts under my street clothes, sometimes not. This week I did. I took the path along the river back home. It's a pleasant ride. I delayed taking a natural break a little to long so I had to jump in the brush to get out of view of the paved trail. No problem, head on home.

So I get home and start to change my clothes. Pull my bike shorts off and there's this Japanese beetle firmly attached to my scrotum with all six legs. I've had bugs in my nether regions before but never an insect of this size inside my bike shorts. All I can figure is she jumped in when I took a break.
