Is it really windy near the water? Wind really kills my spirit.

It's usually windy near the coast but it wasn't too windy. We planned the route so we started the ride into the wind and ride back with a tailwind.

...I have always liked the town of Pismo Beach.  My wife got sent there for a California State training seminar once, and I got a week by shift trading to go stay with her .

It's been there long enough that it still has a lot of funky older tiny beach town houses, and it just reminds me of some of my favorite beach towns back east.

Lucky it's a dry heat, huh ? :)

Pismo is a cool town. We had dinner in Cayucos just Nortb of Morro which is a cool little beach town.  We had chowder at "Duckies Chowder House".  Damn good chowdah!
