jsharr ★ Posted August 11, 2018 Share #1 Posted August 11, 2018 wash first or wear first? On pants, socks and underwear, I will wear first Shirts tend to be wrinkled or creased so I will wash first. This subject was the topic on the morning drive and one guy felt everything needed to be washed first as there were chemicals and stuff on the clothes from manufacturing.
Wilbur ★ Posted August 11, 2018 Share #2 Posted August 11, 2018 I always wash first for casual clothes and dress shirts. I once bought a pair of jeans and wore them the next day without washing. Got pulled into US Customs after a drug dog lit on me. Someone who handled them was a user! I missed my flight for that bit of fun. 1 1

On unwrinkled shirts, though, I likely will not wash them first either. Jeans, I would wash first, but other pants usually would just wear first. Airehead Posted August 11, 2018 Share #13 Posted August 11, 2018 Wash everything--- new clothes don't smell right and someone dirty may have tried them on before I bought them. 2

maddmaxx ★ Posted August 11, 2018 Share #15 Posted August 11, 2018 You never wash Wal-Mart T shirts before you wear them. They only have so many washes in them before they wear out. 1
Square Wheels Posted August 11, 2018 Share #16 Posted August 11, 2018 Civilized people wash garments that are handled by the little people. However, it is a conundrum, as I have other little people who do that for me.
