Popular Post Dottleshead ★ Posted August 12, 2018 Popular Post Share #1 Posted August 12, 2018 I can get to this lake's trailhead within an 35 minutes of where I live. It's a day hike and there are all kinds of other ones like it. It's the reason I live here. https://www.wta.org/go-hiking/hikes/ashland-lakes 10 1

Popular Post Longjohn ★ Posted August 13, 2018 Popular Post Share #7 Posted August 13, 2018 This lake is less than an hour by bike from my house and has a paved bike/hike trail rolling around it. It's my go to place for my average solo ride. Depending on which route I take I get in 30 to 40 miles. It takes me about fifteen minutes to get my kayak there on my car. 5

dinneR ★ Posted August 14, 2018 Share #14 Posted August 14, 2018 But if you want to talk about natural beauty close to home. This trailhead is one block from my apt. It's a two minute bike ride to hit the dirt.
