It was nicely done. Steve Martin was perfect for the role. His daughter was cute, and Diane Keaton did well. 3. I didn't realize it was a remake, with the original 1950 movie directed by Vincent Minelli (Liza's father) and starring Spencer Tracy and Elizabeth Taylor as the bride. @Road Runner probably remembers that version. 4. Actually, it was "Invaders From Mars" that holds that distinction. FWIW, "Ghosts of Mars" is one of the best movies of all time. Historically speaking, it is a sci-fi babe fest.
