I've had a few interactions with the nicer Trek ebikes which I hound if they pass me (they are GREAT bikes to draft behind), but yesterday, with a lot folks out on the trail and a steady headwind, I couldn't safely just tuck in behind a dude on a less fancy ebike and draft Over the next five miles, he drew steadily farther up the road BUT(!), I did catch and pass a dude on an eScooter!
