petitepedal ★ Posted August 18, 2018 Share #1 Posted August 18, 2018 With the coming of Fall.... I need to plan a couple of weekend adventures...either day trips or maybe even a 3 day get-a-way or two... I just love fall I should make my annual pilgrimage up to the Big Lake...(Superior) I can't remember but I think a group of us tried to do a fall hike and visit a art museum in Winona...we got rained out on the hike (hey my friends are not hikers so if the weather ain't beautiful...they ain't gonna walk) I do have an entire week of vacation..(actually 2 but I bank one til my PTO comes back in March...the shingles killed at least 2 weeks of PTO ) but not sure if I have the $$$$ for a long trip....Last fall I took 3 day weekends the entire month of October...that was kinda nice... I guess I could visit The Wisconsin and Michigan peeps or venture back to the Dakotas or Iowa Maybe Nebraska...but I wanna do that for the crane migration in the spring!! Kirby Posted August 18, 2018 Share #2 Posted August 18, 2018 While long trips are nice, short trips provide a nice break as well. And autumn is such a wonderful time to go explore - not too hot and not too snowy.
Further Posted August 18, 2018 Share #3 Posted August 18, 2018 When I could take vacation by the day 3 & 4 day trips were my favorites.
