Popular Post The_Karen_Cooper_Incident Posted September 19, 2013 Popular Post Share #1 Posted September 19, 2013 What inspires you? Is it a person? A place? A certain activity? This cold snap lately has inspired me to run again. I ran a few miles last night around 11. I love running at night. I love this cooler weather. Reverend_Maynard Posted September 19, 2013 Share #2 Posted September 19, 2013 Seeing progress inspires me to make more progress. Here's hoping I can see a maintained healthy weight over weeks and months as progress. I've started running a bit, too. 2

I've been hovering between 192 to 196 the past month. It's a good weight for me. I plan on doing some weight lifting though so I'll gain some back there. Reverend_Maynard Posted September 19, 2013 Share #5 Posted September 19, 2013 I haven't done it enough to say whether it's evil or not for me presonally. I've got my eye on it, thiough. I started doing 2 minutes running, 1 minute walking over a 1.8 mile stretch that I used to just walk. Then 3/1, then 4/1, 5/1, 6/1, 8/1, now at 17 minutes straight to complete it. The swimming I did this summer played havoc on my shoulders again. Need to add some more muscle there again. That's my never ending battle.

Chopped Liver Posted September 20, 2013 Share #12 Posted September 20, 2013 My family and my desire to give them the best I can is what inspires me each day. If it weren't for them I'd be an aimless hobo drifting around on the trails of North America.

I'm walking with you on this one. I have many examples in my life, that lead me in another direction. A different path. Still, I'm unbelievably fortunate to have others in my life that are great examples of humanity. I've met many of them on LF. I won't name names, but I'm sure many feel the same way. Further Posted January 17, 2018 Share #17 Posted January 17, 2018 There is a kid at work I'v never heard utter a negative word. I'v done miserable jobs with him, fucked up and had to start the miserable job over from the start. He never complains, or blames. He's a lot like me.....only different.... 1 1
