Ralphie ★ Posted October 14, 2018 Share #1 Posted October 14, 2018 I need to refresh it though! I only have aboot one pullover longsleeve shirt, and it is a faded Don Henley with blown oot armpits! I am becoming more of a summer fan because I love just wearing a t-shirt, shorts, and sandals. Socks and shows are such a bother! But sweat pants are oh so comfortable.
donkpow Posted October 14, 2018 Share #2 Posted October 14, 2018 I have found lightweight nylon warm-up or training pants to be an excellent solution for cooler to cold temperatures. Sometimes called track pants and other names. Basically just nylon pants with any of a variety of linings, if any. They are wind proof and somewhat water resistant. For cool weather, I just wear regular shorts underneath. For cold temperatures, I wear thermals of appropriate weight. Goodwill is my source @ $4.29/pair. ChrisL Posted October 14, 2018 Share #3 Posted October 14, 2018 I need to figure out cooler weather clothes for mtn biking. I have lots of road stuff and don't necessarily like to wear my road gear mtn biking. I have a cycling specific jacket but its a little overkill on a mtn bike as speeds are slower/less windchill. I don't ride in really cold temps but I've found layers are my friend.
