And on Thursday, she returned to Berlin, riding from the west. In between, Scottish cyclist Jenny Graham rode thousands of miles to become the fastest woman to ride around the world unsupported. It took less than 125 days — just over one-third of a year — for Graham to complete the ride, covering some 18,000 miles on her bike. That lopped nearly three weeks off the old record of 144 days set by Paola Gianotti in 2014.
onbike1939 Posted October 20, 2018 Share #2 Posted October 20, 2018 Given that the woman did this completely unsupported and carried her own luggage....it is pretty impressive. It does mean that the male and female records for this event are held by Scots.....just saying.
Longjohn ★ Posted October 20, 2018 Share #3 Posted October 20, 2018 Only 144 miles a day for 125 days, that’s doable. The ocean portions were probably the hardest to keep her speed up.

donkpow Posted October 20, 2018 Share #5 Posted October 20, 2018 I'd hate to look at those saddle sores. Wait, I could just take off my glasses.
