dinneR ★ Posted October 30, 2018 Share #2 Posted October 30, 2018 Those are beautiful photos. Best time of year to be there, you probably had the park almost to yourself. How were the roads? I've been contemplating a road ride through the park, but it seems there might be a fair amount of ice and snow over the passes. We got a fair amount of snow to the south today. sheep_herder ★ Posted October 30, 2018 Author Share #3 Posted October 30, 2018 There were a few icy patches, but overall the roads were fine. Road from Cook City to Red Lodge was closed, so I had to go south and then back north to get to Billings. Glad you liked the photos. Before the bison finished moving across the road, I was essentially surrounded. Several cars passed, but only a few stopped for very long. One young one looked in the window and snorted as it passed by, and then it took a swipe at one of the orange snow mark poles as it crossed the road. It was an interesting hour.
