Prophet Zacharia Posted November 6, 2018 Share #2 Posted November 6, 2018 It would be beautiful. Hard to plan as a foreigner, though, not knowing anything about the roads. I took trains everywhere. I was surprised at the lack of vehicle traffic in downtown Tokyo though. Cycling there would have been far easier than Any major US city, IMO. shootingstar Posted November 7, 2018 Share #3 Posted November 7, 2018 She has done some good trips. It looks very scenic where she went. The thing about city cycling in Japan, is there's lots of cycling on the sidewalk. Tons more cyclists in Kyoto... we saw. We thought the car traffic was rather "quiet" in noise level in downtown Tokyo. There must be something on their car muffler or? We didn't bring our bikes to Japan and Korea (SK) since we knew there may not be have been enough time. This is what my partner enjoyed in Seoul when he was there almost 7 years ago. That was why I wanted to see the city, traditional + modernity that was well done. https://thirdwavecyclingblog.wordpress.com/2011/11/07/seoul-–-parting-thoughts/
