late Posted November 7, 2018 Share #1 Posted November 7, 2018 Cspan interview of 3 authors that wrote a book about a particular oddball crime. The first is about an Indonesian that made millions selling counterfeit wine. In the second, a flautist that literally wanted a golden flute stole priceless bird pelts from museums. They are priceless because they can't be replaced, and are a valuable resource for scientists. The third was about a dinosaur hunter that made a modest living for years. Things went wrong when he cut a deal to make big money, and made a display of a Mongolian cousin of the T Rex that they hoped would sell for about a million bucks. That caught people's attention. I didn't hold much hope for this, when I started it. With Cspan, you kiss a fair number of frogs before you find something good. But this turned out to be fascinating.https://www.c-span.org/video/?451839...ion-true-crime
