Popular Post ChrisL Posted November 11, 2018 Popular Post Share #1 Posted November 11, 2018 Last night was the Indian wedding. It was a little hectic at first as the planning wasn't great and guests had to wait about an hour for it to start but the party was a real good time. Good (albeit interesting) food too! It was good to see so many friends and family together in one place. I thought it odd that so many people asked how I felt about giving my daughther away. I never really gave it much thought and am totally fine with the whole thing. She's marrying a great kid that already is part of the family. Heres a picture before they walked in together. They do it different in that they come in together & towards the end dancing with her surrogate daughter (my nieces daughter) in her after wedding Sari. 9

But wait, there's more! Wedding #3 is in December.... This one was the Indian wedding at the insistence of her father in law to keep appearances for his family. It was somewhat of an afterthought and I had no involvement and paid $0 money for it. The originally scheduled wedding will be a traditional wedding. Wedding #1 was just the courthouse wedding. 1

That reminds me of my wife and daughters' birthday celebrations - usually multiples!

maddmaxx ★ Posted November 12, 2018 Share #12 Posted November 12, 2018 It's much betterer to give a daughter away than to have to pay for someone to take her. It looked like a fun wedding. Congrats to the bride and groom.
