jsharr ★ Posted November 15, 2018 Author Share #2 Posted November 15, 2018 Roy Clark always seemed like the genuie article to me. We need more wholesome entertainment like HeeHaw. He will be missed.
Road Runner Posted November 15, 2018 Share #3 Posted November 15, 2018 I heard an interview once where he said he never learned to read music. He played strictly by ear.
TrentonMakes Posted November 15, 2018 Share #4 Posted November 15, 2018 An unbelievable talent. Every time I watch this guy play my mouth hangs open. He outlived so many of his contemporaries.... obviously Buck Owens, Johnny Cash, Glen Campbell, Jerry Reed, Chet Atkins.... nice to think of the welcome he's receiving right now - I'd gladly buy a ticket to that show, but I'd want to be able to come home afterward.

Road Runner Posted November 15, 2018 Share #6 Posted November 15, 2018 I think one of the first times I ever saw Roy was on the Beverly Hillbillies. ?
