bikeman564™ Posted November 15, 2018 Share #1 Posted November 15, 2018 and last night's too. Is Ashley's 35th anniversary oatmeal stout by Bell's Brewery. 8.5% ABV. Smooth, medium body beer w/ good flavor. I brought a crowler of it home last night. 3
Ralphie ★ Posted November 16, 2018 Share #2 Posted November 16, 2018 Sounds delish! 'specially if it pours like used motor oil. Tonight is Friday night for me, so had a Double Nickel Belgian. Seemed a little strong on first sip, but it got better and better. A touch of hoppiness.

Ralphie ★ Posted November 16, 2018 Share #6 Posted November 16, 2018 Troeg's Hop Knife. Very good! I celebrate almost their entire catalog, 'cept I haven't tried Mad Elf yet.
Razors Edge ★ Posted November 16, 2018 Share #7 Posted November 16, 2018 Still rolling through my Oktoberfest (Flying Dog ones last night) stash. Almost done with them, so I will be on the lookout for some "Winter" ales and whatnot.
TrentonMakes Posted November 16, 2018 Share #8 Posted November 16, 2018 Last night's first beer was a disappointment... a pint can of River Horse "Citrus Maximus" that had all this white crud floating in it. I sadly poured it down the drain along with my tears. Luckily I still had a couple bottles of 90-Minute IPA in there. (I only drank 1)

I remember this being a simple combination of the 60 and 90, but something I read recently seemed to have a different description. I find I am really getting into this hazy, "New England IPA" genre. RH's "Juiced" IPA is a good one, methinks. But 90-Minute is still one of the best.

I'll have to try that RH Juiced. Sounds similar to the Left Hand Juicy Goodness. It is a golden ale that tastes amazingly frooty even though it has only barley, hops, yeast, and water as ingredients. BTW, I had a Tuckahoe hazy IPA on tap that was fantastic.
12string Posted November 16, 2018 Share #13 Posted November 16, 2018 I pulled a Bourbon County Stout out of the warm fridge, but put it back. It was 1 pint +, 14.1% when it was bottled over a year ago. It was rather late in the evening so I put it back for a OC Jaques Du Lantern.
