Caroline Rose Concert Review

She kicked ass!  She said we were her favourite audience of the tour so far, and I believe it - we Philadelphia area peeps do make great audiences and there was great energy in the room.  She had the place packed, and it is fun to see a musician who has found her voice on the way up. She was way too good for the price they charged ($15, $17 with service fee!) and the grungy venue.  Good to see a diverse crowd - I may not even have been the oldest person there!  :D There were lots of young people with a smattering of us older ones.

She had a new bass player.  Funny, bass players seem to be the most expendable in a band, even more so than drummers!  But two we know will never change are Sunflower Bean and Krangbin or whatever.

This was definitely not More of the Same Thing even though it started that way - the earworm that stuck with me. :)
